I’m Luna Lu, a passionate and experienced Product & UX/UI Designer with over 6 years of hands-on experience designing digital platforms across mobile, web, and embedded systems. My design approach blends strategic thinking with emotional depth—creating intuitive, human-centered experiences that resonate.

 

My creative journey began with a BFA in Product Design (2015-2019), where I developed a deep appreciation for form, function, and user empathy. While at vivo (2019–2021), I led system-level and cross-platform UX efforts, which sparked my decision to pursue a master’s degree in Experience Design (2022-2024). This experience expanded my research, strategy, and design systems skills, shaping me into a well-rounded digital designer.

My creative journey is driven by the belief that the digital world of 0s and 1s can often feel cold and impersonal. As a sophisticated UX designer, I focus on emotional designs, aiming to create emotional resonance with users through artistic expressions, transcending the boundary between the digital and real worlds.

The power of emotion in digital products recreates memorable moments, drives new user habits, and empowers users with creativity, imagination, and a sense of connection. For example, in the Nano Music Player project, I integrated emotional design elements that led to a 30% increase in user engagement and retention.

Beyond the screen, I draw inspiration from nature, food, and the small rituals of daily life—moments that remind me to design with empathy, joy, and purpose.
